Difference between VGA and Graphic Card? Best Answer | Web Partner

Best Answer:

VGA- video graphics array a generic driver use in all os to give you a display on your monitor not good for gaming or 3 d effect , or other good video graphics Graphic cards two types onbroad and dedicated Onbroad is sometimes fair for gaming, good for movies , music video, a very few 3d effects , but normally is shared and sometimes put a strain on the cpu {processor }

Dedicated- a plug in graphic card and nowa days uses a GPU{graphics processing unit } which is seperate from the cpu putting no strain on the cpu and almost all of the video ram is dedicated to the display graphics , great for gaming , 3d effects , music video, other display graphics but also depends on the type you get the better the graphic card with good specs the better the display graphics

reminder : most newer motherboards don't have onbroad graphic cards because it's better to have a dedicated graphic card again less strain on the cpu more video ram to the display graphics.
